Founded in 1985, the African Books Collective (ABC) is an African-owned, worldwide marketing and distribution outlet for books from Africa - scholarly, literature, and children's books.  ABC works to internationally distribute books from over 100 publishers across multiple countries in Africa.  Learn more about the history of this company.

In an effort to support smaller publishers, UR joined with VIVA (our statewide academic library consortium) to subscribe to this important collection.
