CLASSICAL STUDIES RESEARCH GUIDE: Databases

Resources for the study of Latin, Greek, and classical literatures and culture.

Sources of General Articles

These databases are not restricted by the subject or discipline of the articles and books indexed.  However, they may be less comprehensive for any given subject than the discipline specific databses to the right.

Journals at UR

This is a list of all the journals and ebooks on Greek and Latin literature, history, and archaeology at UR.

Most Important Research Databases

These databases focus on publications associated with specific disciplines and closely related fields. Remember that if the full text of an article you want to read is not available in the database you are searching, you should use the Journal Titles search on the main page to learn whether we have access and by what means (another database, the publisher's web site, or the print collection in Boatwright).
