These databases are not restricted by the subject or discipline of the articles and books indexed. However, they may be less comprehensive for any given subject than the discipline specific databses to the right.

This is good place to start for most topics, including all sciences, religion, law, history, psychology, political science, criminal justice, literature, current events, sociology and communications.

These databases focus on publications associated with specific disciplines and closely related fields.
