The library's Journal Titles search helps you to:
Some publishers "embargo" their most recent issues so that you may only be able to electronically access articles published 1-2 years earlier.
The Journal Titles tab is also located on the library homepage with OneSearch and Books & More.
Search for journal articles and books on topics related to psychology. (APA)
Search for journal articles in this open access database maintained by the US National Library of Medicine (NLM). The content covers subjects that range from biomedicine and health fields to related disciplines such as life sciences, behavioral sciences, chemical sciences, and bioengineering. (US Government)
Search an index of journal articles in the social sciences. This database is part of the Web of Science platform and can also be used to track, evaluate, and compare journals and articles. Tools included are the number of citations, the journal's impact factor, and other metrics. (Clarivate)
Use the database in two ways: 1) Search the open access database for working papers that are posted here before being published in an official journal. 2) Request an account to specific networks by emailing Carrie Ludovico. These networks provide access to articles from subscription journals on specific topics. UR has access to the Accounting Research Network, Corporate Governance Research Network, Economics Research Network, Entrepreneurship Research and Policy Network, Financial Economics Network, Information Systems & eBusiness Network, Innovation Research Network, Management Research Network, and Social Insurance Research Network. (Elsevier)
The library offers both Item Retrieval Services and Interlibrary Loan Services for faculty, staff, and students.
Item Retrieval Services are are for items that the UR Libraries owns in print format. This DOES NOT include DVDs, Videos, and Music CDs.
Interlibrary Loan Services are for items not owned by the library.
These links will bring up lists of journals in the OneSearch by category. You can get to these same lists through the Journal Titles tab on the library homepage.
