WGSS 280: Gender and Work (Ooten)

This is a guide for Melissa Ooten's WGSS 280 course, Gender and Work. It collects books, journals, databases, and research tips that would be useful for students in the course. 

Search for your issue, topic, or policy using an encyclopedia. This can be a great way to build a bank of keywords to search library resources with. You can also consult the article bibliography for further reading. Think about your issue in terms of the frameworks introduced in class (gender, sexuality, race/ethnicity, poverty, ablebodiedness, nationality, and migration).

Subject headings can help you discover resources you otherwise wouldn't find through keywords.
