If you prefer to link directly to the item in a database (rather than the OneSearch record), here's how to do that:
- Access the article, ebook, or video in the database. Look for a button/link to "copy URL" or "permalink" or "bookmark" or "durable link" or "cite." Review the URL automatically generated by the database. If it starts with https://newman.richmond.edu/login?url= (our proxy prefix), then copy and save that link.

- If it does not start with the proxy prefix, then add it to the front of the URL. In the examples below, you would modify the URL to be either:
