Please provide us with good citation information in your ILLiad request: The more accurate and detailed bibliographic information you can provide us about the source you are seeking, the better the chances are we will get it for you! If you are struggling with a citation please contact a librarian in the reference and instruction department. They will help you locate the citation the information to provide a successful ILLiad search. At minimum, fields marked with a red asterisk in the ILL Request forms should be filled out.
If we cannot determine what is you are asking for the request may be returned with the reason "insufficient information for a successful search".
Keep your computer up to date: We find that ILLiad just works better on machines that are updated regularly and use common browsers such as Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. This is true of PDF viewers. ILLiad uses your standard UR ID/password combination, so be sure that is up to date as well.
Informational Book Strap: All of the books checked out to you through Resource Sharing include a book strap/wraparound. This has printed information such as the title, your name, and due date. Please do not remove this! It helps us account for items that must be returned.
Brand new item? Allow extra time!: Just-published items are often not available for resource sharing. Simply put, libraries do not have these items to lend yet. If it is a very new item you need for your research or teaching, we recommend you contact your liaison librarian for ordering information.
