Resource Sharing/ILL at University of Richmond Libraries : What is Resource Sharing/ILL?

This guide summarizes uses, updates, and guidance for Resource Sharing/ILL at Boatwright Library and Parsons Music Library at the University of Richmond.

Our Department

The mission of the Resource Sharing Department (which provides a service typically known as InterLibrary Loan, or ILL) is to unite our users with high quality information from other libraries and lenders around the US. In turn we loan our collection to others. In essence this gives our faculty, staff, and students, access to an unlimited amount of resources! We are currently part of the University Libraries General Services Division, and we work closely with other library departments including User Services.

ILLiad is the system we use to obtain resource sharing materials. Both books and articles can be requested through ILLiad. Other items, such as multimedia, can also be requested this way.

We have a long history of working hard to help our users pursue academic and work information! We invite you to reach to us for help.
