Boatwright Memorial Library

Elevator Replacement

The main elevator leading to the Basement Level will be non-operational for the 2025/2026 Academic Year. Patrons with disabilities can make a request online or in person at the Ground Level circulation desk to have a staff member retrieve materials while the elevator is out of service.

Boatwright Memorial Library

Accessible Parking Spots near the Boatwright Library are available in the following nearby lots: 

  • For Students: R54
  • For Faculty and Staff: R49, R59, R47
  • For Visitors: R55, R47, U6
  • There are also 5 accessible spots outside the Lora Robins Gallery entrance to the library.

NOTE: Lot R51 near Boatwright is currently unavailable due to library construction. 

Parsons Music Library

Accessible Parking Spots near Parsons Music Library in the Modlin Center are available in the following lots: 

  • For Students: W87
  • For Faculty and Staff: W73, W83, W76
  • For Visitors: W87, W85

Entrances/Exits

Boatwright Memorial Library

There are two accessible entrances to the Ground Level of Boatwright Library: the Eight-Fifteen Cafe entrance facing the lake and the Lora Robins Gallery Entrance, which is open 11am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Accessing the Tower Area

The Tower Area currently houses the Weinstein Learning Center (WLC), Faculty Hub, and the Innovation Studio.

The Tower door entrance remains open during construction. However, if an accessible entrance is needed, please follow these directions: 

  • Enter the library through the A&S Dean's Offices/Administrative Wing Door (to the left of the Tower). 
  • Once inside, walk down the hallway and take the first left. There is an elevator on the right side of the hall. 
  • For the WLC or 2nd floor classrooms, take the elevator to the second floor (2R).
  • For the Faculty Hub, take the elevator to the third floor (3R).
  • For the Innovation Studio, take the elevator to the fourth floor (4R). 
  • To exit the building, take the elevator back down to the 1st floor (1R). 

 

Parsons Music Library

There are two entrances to the Parsons Music Library, both of which are accessible by elevator. One is on the 2nd floor of Booker Hall and the other is on the 3rd floor of the Modlin Center For The Arts.

Restrooms

Boatwright Memorial Library

  • ADA-compliant single all-gender restrooms are located on the Basement Level.
  • Men and Women's restrooms with accessible stalls are located on the Ground Level & in the Tower Area

Parsons Music Library

  • ADA-compliant single all-gender restrooms are located right outside the second floor library entrance.
