Online Resources for Performing Musicians: General

Resources for applied music instructors, ensemble directors, student performers, and others who are teaching/learning music in an online environment.

  • The Modlin Center's Virtual Arts page lists live and recorded performances in all genres
  • For streaming concerts by local (Virginia) musicians, try the Commonwealth of Virginia's official blog
  • The Richmond Folk Festival will celebrate its 16th anniversary the weekend of October 9-11, 2020 with a virtual event celebrating the roots, richness, and variety of American culture that will bring together the community through a special television program, radio broadcasts and online streaming.
  • And don't forget the many streaming audio and video services that the library subscribes to

JUST FOR FUN (you won't even realize you're learning)
