1. Search for the name of the newspaper on the Journal Titles search on the Library homepage:
2. Click on the newspaper and find the "View Online" section of the record. Choose a link that includes recent content:
3. Try searching for your topic plus "op-ed," "letters," or "editorial"
From a FOREIGN NEWS source
1. Choose one of the following databases that contain international news sources:
- Access World News (Historical and Current) This link opens in a new windowSearch for articles from thousands of US and global news sources. It includes some audio and video news sources, as well as traditional newspapers. (Newsbank/Readex)
- Factiva This link opens in a new windowAccess news and company reports, stock quotes, and market information from Dow Jones and Reuters. This database has extensive international news coverage. (Dow Jones)
- Nexis Uni This link opens in a new windowSearch for newspaper articles and legal materials such as court cases, legislation, statutes, regulations, law reviews, and more. (Lexis-Nexis)
2. Try searching for your topic plus "op-ed," "letters," or "editorial"
3. Limit your search by Geographic area.
It looks a little different for each database, but all have this feature. This will limit your results to only newspapers from the country(ies) or region(s) you choose.
