Born to a Ghanaian diplomat, David Adjaye, lived and studied in the UK. His work is varied and covers residential structures, furniture, product design, exhibitions, museums, and civic centers. Probably his most recognizable design for UR students is the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington DC.
