Journal Article:

APA Print:
Author, A.A. (Publication year). Article title. Journal Title, volume number(issue number), pp-pp.

APA Electronic without DOI:
Author, A.A. (Publication year). Article title. Journal Title, volume number(issue number), pp-pp. Retrieved from URL.

APA Electronic with DOI:

MLA:
Print:
Author(s). "Title of Article." Title of Journal Volume.Issue (Year): pages. Medium of publication.

MLA requires a page range for articles that appear in Scholarly Journals. If the journal you are citing appears exclusively in an online format (i.e. there is no corresponding print publication) that does not make use of page numbers, use the abbreviation n. pag. to denote that there is no pagination for the publication. Journal from Web:

List just as for print. In addition to this information, provide the title of the database italicized, the medium of publication, and the date of access.

For an individual page on a Web site, list the author or alias if known, followed by the information covered above for entire Web sites. Remember to use n.p. if no publisher name is available and n.d. if not publishing date is given.
