Equipment

The Music Library has lots of equipment. Some can be used by everyone, but some is reserved for staff use only.

Room 104 (Circulation Area)

Photocopier (all library patrons). Only music faculty can charge copying to their department by entering their ID number (If faculty from other departments are interested in this arrangement, please refer them to Linda); all others pay cash.  Refunds are available from the Campus Print Shop The copier can also scan to a USB drive, at no charge.

Printer (all library patrons with UR net ID)

Book Scanner (all library patrons): This unit can scan books (face-up) or flat sheets, saving the files to a USB device at no charge.

Public Catalog Computer (all library patrons): This computer can be used by non-UR patrons to search the catalog, since a UR login is not needed.

Circulation computers (library staff and student employees only)

Laptop computers (all current UR students/faculty/staff)

iPads (all current UR students/faculty/staff)

Room 103 (scores and CDs)

The “stand up” computer station requires a UR login and is intended for short-term use (printing or looking up something in the catalog).

Room 105 (books and journals)

The “stand up” computer station requires a UR login and is intended for short-term use (printing or looking up something in the catalog).

The computers in the carrels are for long-term use.  They require a UR login.
