The Music Library's digital signage system displays library and/or music-related announcements, advertisements of library services, and other relevant information. Linda, Melanie, and other library staff are responsible for creating content. Student Managers simply turn the monitor on when they open the library, and off when they close the library. The remote control is located behind the circulation desk.
Please promptly report any malfunctions to Linda or Melanie.
STUDENT EMPLOYEES SHOULD NEVER ACCEPT DONATIONS ON BEHALF OF THE MUSIC LIBRARY.
In order to prevent problems or embarrassing situations, all decisions about whether to accept donated materials are to be made solely by the Music Librarian.
If someone calls or stops by with something that they would like to give us, and Linda is not available, politely state that you are not authorized to accept donations on behalf of the library, but that the Music Librarian would be happy to discuss the matter with them. Get the person’s name and phone number, and give him or her Linda’s business card (on the circulation desk).
