Research Project Assignment

Using research to refine a research question

In this class we will focus on a critical step in the research process—the development of a research question. Developing a sound and viable question is an iterative process; you start with an interest, a curiosity, and then, by learning more about a topic, you refine that question into a question you can pursue in a research project. Another part of this project is creating an annotated bibliography, a descriptive and evaluative list of sources that will help you think about the questions for your proposed paper/project.
